Racing Heart Northern Beaches supports aspiring Youth (12-15 years) & Junior (16-19 years) athletes in their Secondary School years with a coaching focus on individual sporting pursuits in triathlon, multi-sport, running and cycling.
Triathlon & Multisport
Triathlon is a multi-discipline sport combining swimming, cycling, and running stages in a single event. Multisport events incorporate swim, bike, or run components in various combinations.

Triathlon - Swim, Bike, Run. Distances including:
- Enticer/Beginner: 200m–300m Swim / 7km–10km Bike / 2km–2.5km Run
- Super Sprint: 300-400m Swim / 8-10km Bike / 2-2.5km Run
- Sprint Distance: 750m Swim, 20km Cycle, 5km Run
- Standard Distance: 1500m Swim, 40km Bike, 10km Run
Multisport
- Aquathlon: Swim, Run
- Aquabike: Swim, Cycle
- Cross Triathlon: Swim, Mountain Bike, Trail Run
- Cross Duathlon: Trail Run, Mountain Bike, Trail Run
- Duathlon: Run, Cycle and Run
Running: Mid-distance & Cross Country
Cycling: Aus Cycling Junior Road
Holistic Approach
- Holistic approach to sport performance & life, in balance with with other seasonal interests, hobbies, extra-curricular activities (eg music/the arts), academic studies & recreation.
- Foster a foundation of Champion Values (Values of the Heart). Including patience, courage, belief, respect, integrity & gratitude.
- Season planning including goals/ambitions. Trust in the process & growing into the person who can achieve them.

Brick Sessions

A brick session is a training workout where you combine two disciplines back‑to‑back, combined with short transition, & with minimal or no rest.

Cycling Skills
- Bec Hoschke, Racing Heart
- Location: North Head Manly (Sydney Harbour National Park); Terry Hills / Ku-ring-gai National Park
- Sessions Commencing School Term 2. Periodically Saturday mornings
- Equipment: Road bike (safety service at your local bike shop); helmet, cycle shoes + cleats, puncture repair kit.
Term 2 Session Schedule
- Swim Squads as preferred
- Run Sessions: Tuesday afternoon 4.30pm (1 hour). SAS, Narrabeen.
- Cycle/Brick Sessions: Wednesday afternoons from 4.30pm (75-90 mins including equipment set up/pack down, breifings etc). SAS, Narrabeen
- Road Cycle Workshops: Saturday mornings, Sunrise. Periodic per Term. North Head Manly.

Fees
- Swim Squads. Please refer to your preferred local Squad for this information.
- Run Session SAS Narrabeen: $20 per week.
- Brick Sessions SAS Narrabeen: $30 per week.
- Combined Package: $45 per week.
- Road Cycling Skill Workshops, North Head Manly. Periodic per Term. $30 per session.
- Block Payment per Term required in advance.
